Lo más importante, en tres líneas. Si tu hijo juega sin cuenta, no recibimos ningún dato: todo se queda en su navegador. Si creas una cuenta, tratamos tu correo y lo que tu hijo hace jugando, alojado en la Unión Europea. No vendemos datos, no hacemos publicidad y no perfilamos a nadie con fines comerciales.The short version. If your child plays without an account, we receive no data at all: everything stays in their browser. If you create an account, we process your email and what your child does while playing, hosted in the European Union. We do not sell data, we do not advertise and we do not profile anyone for commercial purposes.
1. Quién es el responsable1. Who the controller is
El responsable del tratamiento es la persona física titular del proyecto Mundo Sapiens (mundosapiens.com). Para cualquier cuestión relacionada con tus datos o con los de tu hijo, incluido el ejercicio de tus derechos, la vía de contacto es soporte@mundosapiens.com, atendida por el responsable.The data controller is the natural person who owns the Mundo Sapiens project (mundosapiens.com). 2. Si se juega sin cuenta, no tratamos datos2. Playing without an account: no data is processed
Mundo Sapiens se puede jugar sin registrarse. En ese caso, la partida, el progreso y los registros de lo que hace el niño se guardan únicamente en el almacenamiento local del navegador del dispositivo y no se envían a ningún servidor nuestro. No hay nada que podamos leer, consultar ni asociar a una persona. In that case the game, the progress and the record of what the child does are stored solely in the browser's local storage on the device and are never sent to any server of ours. There is nothing we can read, consult or link to a person. What is stored and how to erase it is set out in the cookies and local storage policy.

No pedimos ni queremos: apellidos del niño, fecha de nacimiento exacta, dirección, teléfono, fotografías, grabaciones de voz ni datos de salud. El curso escolar sí se guarda, porque es lo que determina el nivel de los retos.We do not ask for and do not want: the child's surname, exact date of birth, address, telephone, photographs, voice recordings or health data. The school year is stored, because it is what sets the level of the challenges.
4. Menores de edad4. Children
El juego está pensado para niños de 6 a 16 años, pero la cuenta la crea siempre un adulto. En España, el artículo 7 de la LOPDGDD sitúa en los 14 años la edad a partir de la cual un menor puede consentir por sí mismo el tratamiento de sus datos; por debajo, hace falta el consentimiento de quien ostenta la patria potestad o tutela. Por eso el registro lo hace el adulto y no el niño, y por eso el juego se puede usar sin cuenta: para que un niño pueda jugar sin que nadie trate sus datos.The game is designed for children aged 6 to 16, but the account is always created by an adult. In Spain, Article 7 of the LOPDGDD sets 14 as the age from which a minor may consent to the processing of their own data; below that, the consent of the holder of parental responsibility is required. That is why the adult registers and not the child, and why the game can be used with no account at all: so a child can play without anyone processing their data.
Al crear la cuenta, confirmas que eres mayor de edad y que ostentas la patria potestad o tutela del menor cuyo progreso vas a ver.By creating the account you confirm that you are of legal age and that you hold parental responsibility or guardianship over the child whose progress you will see.
5. Qué NO hacemos5. What we do NOT do
- No vendemos ni cedemos datos a terceros con fines comerciales.We do not sell or transfer data to third parties for commercial purposes.
- No mostramos publicidad ni permitimos que nadie puje por la atención de un niño.We show no advertising and let nobody bid for a child's attention.
- No enviamos correos comerciales. El correo sirve para entrar y para avisarte de algo del servicio.We send no marketing emails. Your address is used to sign in and to warn you about the service itself.
- No hay perfilado con efectos jurídicos ni decisiones automatizadas que te afecten significativamente (art. 22 RGPD). El sistema sí ajusta automáticamente la dificultad de los retos al nivel del niño: eso es adaptar un juego, no evaluar a una persona.There is no profiling with legal effects and no automated decisions that significantly affect you (Art. 22 GDPR). The system does automatically adjust the difficulty of challenges to the child's level: that is adapting a game, not assessing a person.
- No guardamos juicios sobre tu hijo. Frases como «le apasiona especialmente…» o «necesita más apoyo en…» se calculan en tu propio dispositivo cuando abres el panel y desaparecen al cerrarlo. Lo que se almacena son hechos: entró aquí, respondió esto, leyó aquello. Esta decisión está impuesta en la propia estructura de la base de datos.We store no judgements about your child. Phrases such as "they are especially passionate about…" or "they need more support in…" are computed on your own device when you open the panel and vanish when you close it. What is stored is facts: they came here, answered this, read that. This decision is enforced in the structure of the database itself.

La base de datos está alojada en la Unión Europea. Cuando algún proveedor implique tratamiento fuera del Espacio Económico Europeo, se ampara en las cláusulas contractuales tipo de la Comisión Europea o en una decisión de adecuación vigente.The database is hosted in the European Union. Where a provider involves processing outside the European Economic Area, it relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or on an adequacy decision in force.
También podríamos comunicar datos a jueces, tribunales o administraciones cuando una norma lo exija.We may also disclose data to courts or public authorities where the law requires it.
7. Cuánto tiempo los guardamos7. How long we keep them
- Mientras la cuenta exista.For as long as the account exists.
- Cuentas gratuitas: 60 días de inactividad y se borran, con la cuenta y todo su progreso. Sin letra pequeña.Free accounts: 60 days of inactivity and they are deleted, along with all their progress. No small print.
- Si pides la supresión, se borra sin esperar a esos 60 días. Puedes hacerlo tú desde Zona de padres › Cuenta › Borrar mi cuenta, sin escribir a nadie.If you ask for erasure, it is deleted without waiting for those 60 days. You can do it yourself from Parents' Zone › Account › Delete my account, without writing to anyone.
- El borrado por inactividad se ejecuta solo, todos los días de madrugada. Diez días antes queda marcada la cuenta para avisarte.Deletion for inactivity runs automatically, every day in the early hours. Ten days beforehand the account is flagged so you can be warned.
- Excepción: si tienes una suscripción activa o un acceso Premium que te hayamos regalado, tu cuenta no se borra por inactividad mientras dure. Cuando termine, vuelve a la regla de los 60 días.Exception: if you have an active subscription or Premium access we gave you as a gift, your account is not deleted for inactivity while it lasts. When it ends, the 60-day rule applies again.
- Los registros de errores técnicos se conservan el tiempo necesario para diagnosticar el fallo.Technical error logs are kept for as long as needed to diagnose the fault.
8. Tus derechos8. Your rights
Puedes ejercer los derechos de acceso, rectificación, supresión, limitación, oposición y portabilidad, así como retirar tu consentimiento en cualquier momento (lo que no afecta a la licitud del tratamiento anterior). Los de acceso y portabilidad los tienes con un botón en Zona de padres › Cuenta › Descargar mis datos, que te da un fichero con todo lo que hay de tu familia; el de supresión, en Borrar mi cuenta. Para lo demás, escribe a soporte@mundosapiens.com desde la dirección de tu cuenta.You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and withdraw your consent at any time (which does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand). Access and portability are one button away, in Parents' Zone › Account › Download my data, which gives you a file with everything held about your family; erasure is in Delete my account. For anything else, write to soporte@mundosapiens.com from your account address.
Si crees que no hemos atendido bien tu solicitud, puedes reclamar ante la Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es).If you believe your request has not been properly handled, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
9. Seguridad9. Security
El acceso es por enlace enviado a tu correo, sin contraseñas que se puedan reutilizar o filtrar. La base de datos aplica reglas por fila que impiden que una familia lea los datos de otra, y el tráfico va cifrado. Ningún sistema es infalible: si ocurriera una brecha que suponga un riesgo para tus derechos, te lo comunicaríamos conforme al artículo 34 del RGPD.Sign-in is by a link sent to your email, with no passwords to reuse or leak. The database applies row-level rules that prevent one family from reading another's data, and traffic is encrypted. No system is infallible: should a breach occur that poses a risk to your rights, we would notify you in accordance with Article 34 GDPR.
10. Cambios10. Changes
Si esta política cambia de forma relevante, se avisará en el sitio y, cuando afecte a tus datos, por correo. La fecha de arriba indica la última revisión.If this policy changes materially, notice will be given on the site and, where your data is affected, by email. The date above shows the last revision.
